Dubuque County, Iowa Luxembourg namesake Memorials & markers

Luxemburg, Iowa sits in Dubuque County’s Luxembourgish belt, not far from St. Donatus and Holy Cross. Like its namesake towns in Wisconsin and Minnesota, it received a replica borne de la Voie de la Liberté from the Grand Duchy in 1994, marking the 50th anniversary of Luxembourg’s liberation.
